Set numbers, units and dates
Version 0.20.0. Use regional display preferences without changing exact source strings.
1. Use kanvas_session settings.update with sessionId, expectedRevision and config. numberLocale accepts BCP-47 locale tags such as nb-NO, de-DE or en-US. unitSystem is source, metric or imperial. dateFormat is source, dmy, mdy or iso. timeFormat is locale (default), 12h or 24h. timeZone is an IANA zone (empty uses the viewing device). Precedence: view.format, session config, account defaults inherited by new sessions, then viewing device. Explicit calendar/clock zones retain their meaning. A view.format object can override dateFormat/timeFormat/numberLocale/timeZone without changing stored ISO source values.
2. Account defaults use kanvas_profile preferences.update and its own revision; new sessions inherit them. Existing sessions change only when configured.
3. Numeric values use the chosen number locale. Exact text, numeric-looking strings, identifiers, currencies and precision-sensitive decimals stay as supplied.
4. Weather converts only explicitly qualified C/F values or numeric temperature text accompanied by data.temperatureUnit (celsius/fahrenheit). Unqualified values remain unchanged. Other units are not guessed.
5. Date preferences reorder supported date fields without changing their calendar day or supplied timezone. Raw transcript and source text remain untouched.
