Version 0.20.0. Optional named semantic markers that follow text and data across screen sizes.
1. Shared pointing is off by default. The session owner can explicitly enable it with kanvas_viewers pointing.configure: sessionId, enabled:true, confirm:true and expectedRevision from kanvas_viewers pointing.read (initially 0). Disable the same way with the current settings revision. This does not enable public access or change participant permissions.
2. An authorized receiving browser then shows Point. Each person opts into local pointing mode; tap a word, data cell, chart mark or image, or drag a short text span. Done pointing or Escape restores normal interaction. Markers carry the account or approved participant name, never a client-supplied identity.
3. Text uses a logical span, tables use the original source row and column, and chart marks use their data identity. Each receiving browser resolves that anchor in its own layout. Images use coordinates relative to the image itself, excluding letterboxing. A target that is not on the current page is not moved or guessed.
4. Each participant has one replaceable pointer per display, expiring after 20 seconds. Disabling the feature, revoking a participant or replacing the view clears affected markers. Source content, stored history, zoom and layout stay untouched. Embedded external pages, custom HTML, games and video do not expose semantic targets. Public anonymous readers do not participate.
